Hi, I’m Jane!

Drawn to tarot at a young age, I got my first deck over 20 years ago. I am an Aquarius, intuitive/clairvoyant, and practicing witch. My modern eclectic craft is influenced by European folk magic, goddess worship, and my family’s traditions in witchcraft. I studied Art History at West Virginia University and led a successful makeup career in New York City. I am also the co-founder of The 7th Ring, a company specializing in ritual oils.

What does Aphotic Hoopla Mean?

Aphotic is a biological term describing the part of deep lakes and oceans where less than one percent of sunlight penetrates and the creatures that live there. This speaks to the depths we can explore. That regardless of how dark it gets we can still survive. Hoopla is a reminder to not take ourselves too seriously. That there is joy in every day and what may come to be.

In life what helps us heal the most, is the ability to "scuba dive" in our emotions. It is rarely advised that you dive alone. I believe this to be true when exploring the subjects I often do in my readings.
